Best compact scope

I used this scope on all my air rifles:

It's a 4-16X44 and measures 12" end to end.

It has a 30mm tube for more light transfer,

It also has an etched glass reticle so not even my RWS Diana model 48 springer from 1982 will kill it.

It has illuminated reticules if you need them.

Good magnification and clarity all for less than $200.

Do you really need a $500 scope for shooting 100 yards or less??

Good Luck!!

Will

You gotta try the UMOA reticle version it was on sale at extreemtactical before they sold out. $100 off PA price.

My Accushot Swat scope died shortly after I put it on my Diana 52. The rear eyepiece got loose and it would not hold a zero.

Optics Planet probably cheapest for the Vector Veyron SFP the FFP kinda hard to see the reticle from 3-7x especially with no illumination.

Too cheap 4u?

Want the Cadillac version instead?

It's essentially a US Optics TS12x at roughly 1/3 - 1/4 the price.

OR! Buy the Cadillac version!!!

OOOH I like that one! ☝️

If I was in the market for another scope I'd definitely give it a try.

Thank you for posting!

The SFP 3-12 Veyron for around $140 at Optics Planet is tough to beat. I would not get this particular scope in FFP, and I like FFP scopes generally when I am shooting mostly over 50 yards at higher power. I got a SFP Veyron for shooting mostly at, or under that, on my bullpup and it is pretty good, for the price it's great. Now that I always use Strelok and a rangefinder, the whole SFP vs. FFP argument is over and now it's just about actually being able to see the reticle at close range low power, or not.

Here's a scope I'd like you to take a look at for consideration. Now its not in the normal call up of air gun scopes, but it is a very good scope. The glass is very clear with it checking all the normal air gun needs box's. FFP, zero stop, side focus, tactical turrets, low parallax adjustment and hold over radical. There is one thing the warranty, there's mixed information on it. Some places I read 1 year with 60days to return. But it says lifetime on the box. I personally just bought one and installed it on a Vulcan .177 and I'm really enjoy the scope.

Hello --

I got a USO TS-12 MHR FFP back in August. Lapped into a set of SportsMatch rings on my TalonP and that is where it will probably stay for the life of the gun. It is a great scope and better yet can get em on Scopelist for 435$. If you get someone on the phone, you may get a break on shipping, or they may accept your "offer". Shipped to my door from PA in like 3-4 days. I am crazy pleased with the performance of this scope. EuroOptic and Scopelist are sibling companies.

OpticsPlanet is not shipping Veyron version SFP's for another couple weeks, but is apparently worth the wait. I have one on the way, some day.

USO's MHR is a bit thin below 5x. Given how I set my gun up, and the oft close quarters for hunting around here (15 yds) my hold sits right atop the thick post at 10mil. A lit center dot on the MHR would have been awesome.

I was looking at these, but the Co. has mixed reviews & I can’t find anything about a warranty to save my life. Had asked before & @odoyle said Warranty was not great.

Do you have one? Thoughts?

+1 Trenier. You could email Jeff at Trenier and inquire into warranty coverage on his Optisan's, if you want the particulars.

Good luck with Optisan QC it's like Vortex the replacements may be defective as well.

Never ever buy a used Optisan theres no warranty for the second owner

You better off with buying Athlon brand at least if they likely Will and do end up failing at least the replacements are good if not better giving you the current upgraded model for no extra charge.

Athlon prices going down just wait.

So far I love the CP 3-12x32 and other than no IR it's perfect. I especially like the SFP at the lower magnification. Not sure on the "mixed reviews"? I think the Optisan company was sold recently? IDK. Nothing but good things to say about my experience with Trenier.
