Best bench gun

RAW TM1000 in .177 cal with a polygonal barrel. I'm assuming you are shooting 25M USARB matches. If you are talking long range, then there are a number of rifles capable including RAW, Daystate, FX, Thomas. Check the match results on the BR forum and see what other shooters are using. If you are shooting 25M springer class, then an FWB 300S is tops.

“for the money” That does put a different light on the subject.
Money aside I choose the Thomas. My first contact with bench guns found me shooting a Raw and a Thomas. Being a complete novice I found the Thomas much more user friendly (ease of loading) and fun to shoot.
After having shot bench with most platforms (PCP, springer, SSP) I now own two of the Thomas rifles with a third in process. I suppose I can’t offer a more defined endorsement.
