Best .30 pellet weight for 100yard

Hello,



New to Airgun, got a FX M3 couple months ago, shooting .25 and wanna try .30 cal would like to know what would be the most recommend weight for target shooting at 100 Yards.

Rodmar, Welcome. For pellets in .30 I would try both the JSB Exact 44.75gr as well as the FX 44.8gr. Give some slugs a try as well in the same weight range. Have fun.

My Maverick compact and Wildcat 3 BT VP both like the 50 gran better. Same barrels as the M3. Try both after all there aren’t many options in pellets.

Depends on which pellet your gun likes. Mine prefers 44.75's. It "tolerates" the 50gr but accuracy @100 is no where near the 44.74's. Yeah, options are limited.

Great Thank you, is being hard for find the 44 and I just don't want to buy a full sleeve off the 50's and my rifle did like. Will give a try with the 50 was able to find a couple cans, the word can happen is just use to "bad practice"!

I'd suggest clicking on the yellow ZANS Projectiles flag scrolling at top of page. He'll have all the JSB 44.75s you want. The DHL shipping charges are steep but buying in bulk (4, or more tins) can offset the price and bring a reasonable price per pellet. Shipping is fast and I've never seen anyone package more securely. ZANS has helped many members put the pellet shortage in the rearview mirror. WM

2L8 states Pyramyd Air has JSB 44.75s in stock, check pricing as their "Buy 4, Get One Free," program can save $$. I use ZANS because the .25, and larger, caliber JSBs, are so hard to find and I'm not going to pay .22-25 cents per pellet at Amazon or eBay. WM

I just put another order for 11 tins. less than $200 for 11 tins so im ok with that. Especially when locally it is $23 plus tax!
