Best 3/4" or 15mm Scope?

It will be going on a vintage Benjamin 342 and I do not want to mount a 1" or larger tube scope on it, I would like to kinda keep it like it would have been back in the day. Are any brand of the cheap little scopes better than the others?

Also, it would be nice if I can move the rear ring to the front of the tube so I can mount the scope as far back as possible if necessary

well back in the day Weaver and Redfield sold 3/4 scopes and the only reason i know that is i just saw them on Ebay

but most of the the scope were, well cheap

so if were you i would buy one of those scopes if you are doing an art project, otherwise put on a modern scope on and shoot the rifle up to it's capability

been looking and this looks interesting, might have changed my mind, NAH
