I’m sure this has been asked 100 times already but I’m new here and just recently got a hatsan airtact .22 it’s a very budget gun but good enough for what I need. The scope it came with is plastic and I’m looking to upgrade to a better one. I’m looking for one that’s mil dot or mil hash, variable zoom and around 200$ that’ll hold zero for a spring piston gun like mine. Any suggestions are appreciated !

$189 VORTEK BDC Crossfire2 4-12x AO. Not Mildot nor milhash but this is what I would use in your situation and budget constraints if you don't wanna spend close to $500 on a Leopold EFR Custom Shop reticle 3x9. Yo!

I actually found a crossfire 2 that’s mil dot should I get that one ? Atleast I think it’s mil dot it shows it in the pictures anyway haha it’s 169$ on Amazon

I looked into it more and it seems that the vortex crossfire 2 isn’t rated for spring piston guns and I don’t wanna blow it up haha

That vortex will do just fine on a springer. Just call and ask them....all their scopes are springer rated, and they have a VIP warranty that is second to none.

My local big 5 has the vortex 6-18x44 crossfire ii but I held off on getting it. Would that be a good choice ?

Sure if it has the Adjustable objective for close focus. I prefer the 4-12x for quicker target acquision though. Yo!

I was just recommended the 4-12x40 vortex crossfire ii by Yo, and after doing my research and emailing vortex directly, they are indeed springer rated. In fact, they told me they are MAGNUM springer rated, and their warranty is one of the best. It hasn’t arrived yet, but hopefully by the end of the week I’ll have it mounted and tested.

I maxed out at $200, so I got the crossfire. I have no experience with either, but I’ll let you know when I get it mounted how I like it!

I have the Vortex Diamondback 6-24x50 side focus $399 scope and my CHEAPER Crossfire2 $189 according to MY EYES is CLEARER which surprised the hell outa me. Yo!
