I've been EXTREMELY pleased with my Springfield Armory 1911 Mil-Spec. The same basic gun is sold under a variety of names with a variety of features. They all work the same and are about the same price so shop around on the Pyramyd Air site and get the features YOU want on a 1911. I don't think anyone markets it in a Commander size, though. I don't know why--it should be easy to do.
