Benjamin Warranty Experience.

Sent my SAM Marauder in for warranty repair for leaking air. I had a nicely grain figured original wood stock that I stripped and refinished with 100% tung oil (UV hardened) and it gave a really nice reddish hue color. I also removed the factory butt pad and put my own thin rubber pad on for my custom LOP.

I get the rifle back and they swapped out my custom stock with a scratched and dented plain jane brown stock. No mention on the warranty work order. Sent in for air leak and my stock is replaced with a lessor one.

Called CS and the rep was as surprised as I was and said to call back Monday since the repair guys don't work Fridays. My thoughts are, "How about you investigate the matter and call me back on Monday! WOW!" So, now I have to hound the place looking to get my stock back. It’s rather unique so pretty hard to miss installing the right stock…

ETA UPDATE:

Benjamin CS phone conversation resulted in a replacement for the beat up switched stock. I asked for a Field & Target type with wood cheek piece as replacement. I was told it wasn’t possible. Well, today I got the replacement stock delivered. It’s a beautiful grained Field & Target edition! Absolutely ecstatic about this!

I’d been eyeing balling that type stock for years. Now I has one! 😍 I will post pics after the first coat of 100% Tung oil dries! Benjamin did me a total solid with this!
