Benjamin vintage pellets 5mm

Just got old Sheridan blue streak it came with a couple of boxes of pellets 5mm 20 cal
OK so these are old pellets i keep hearing that they are super accurate and exceptionally hard hitting all because of their fantastic ballistic coefficient but no body knows what that coefficient is.
Old gun, shoots holds pressure want to chrony it just wondering what to expect

It should be a little north of 600-fps at eight pumps. I have an unopened '65 and that's how it does.

There are better pellets available. JSB Exacts are very good in the Sheridan. Post pics of your gun and we'll sort out the vintage.

Those pellets aren't real old. I was ordering them from Walmart ten or fifteen years ago.
I didn't have a chrony at the time but the Beeman cataloge forty years ago, said 600 fps.
I have a chrony now so I guess I should log some new numbers with the current ammo.

On the probability the pellets that you got with an old Sheridan Blue Streak are also Sheridans, the information you've gotten about those pellets is ancient. They're neither super accurate, nor exceptionally hard hitting by modern standards. Yellow box Sheridans will likely out-penetrate most pellets, but JSB 13.73 grain pellets will shoot rings around Sheridan pellets, for accuracy.
