Benjamin Vaporizer Lubrication

I bought a Benjamin Vaporizer .177 cal. I have read all the directions, even glanced at all the other languages in the book. Watched Im pretty sure every youtube video on the subject. Owners manual says nothing about lubrication, cleaning or anything about any maintenance whatsoever. They include a bottle of lube or whatever it is. I am a gun nut, I have many, but this is my first air gun since I was a boy and back then it never crossed my mine after millions of shots. How do I keep this thing happy? any papers on how to do this? I have learned a lot researching, and found this forum so Im hoping some of you good people can point me in the path leading to success. Appreciate any feed back.
PS. This particular rifle comes factory with the Center Point 1-4x90, I took one shot and the cross hairs canted lol. they are sending a new one but Im having doubts its going to last any longer. Thanks guys.

You can use any good gun lubricant on the trigger, pivots, and exterior of the gun. Don’t put any petroleum based lube down the transfer port. Petroleum based lubes will diesel in the compression chamber of a springer and eventually burn up your piston seal. Your gun has a self lubricating synthetic piston seal. It should be good for years if it isn’t abused. If the gun makes a dry honking sound while cocking a drop or two of SYNTHETIC oil suitable for PCPs down the transfer port should cure it.
