I want install an larger transfer port in my 22 caliber maximus. I can find a FEW instructions to remove the safety button to allow the removal of the stock. I can find nothing on how to put the safety switch back in, Even the few instructions I can find have me imagining a tiny spring flying across the room, and when I finally find it in the carpet, having no idea how to reposition it. Please advise. Thanks, dark

I use a little jewelers screwdriver to hold the spring back and just put the safety back in the hole. It is very simple.

I use a small hex wrench , not my picture here:
anything that reaches in the little slot & pulls that spring forward is great, with spring out of the way safety pin almost falls out and will about drop back in reversing procedure.

By the way, that spring is captured inside of the trigger housing so you do not have to worry about "Spring Launch".
Once the safety is removed there is no pressure on the spring.
youtube has video on the Disco that shows take down and they are apparently the same except for stock material!
By the way I am pretty sure the the transport has to be installed in the correct direction so be especially careful to note the way it is when you remove the barrel/receiver.
