At 100 yards you will need a good scope(most package rifle & scope deals are not that great of a scope). And Not many entry level PCPs work great at that distance. But if you can figure shooting 50 or maybe even up too 75 yards then it would be a lot easier.

"Kev"Westwind it sounds like the voice of experience, thus, the .22 and .25 Marauder.

I was thinking if you get a 25 first, that opens the possibility of a 177 for target later 

skip the 22 altogether . This what I did, sorta

See all these sound good...but its still okking like all the other places....22 i hit or miss and i dont wanna "HAVE" to go get s forged barrel.

I have a. 25, and it's a realy accurate and nice gun to shoot, and I have it for plinking, not hunting, power is easy to change for your need, i have mine at about 720-730 with the Jsb 25 gr so i get atleast 30 shots, can't remember exactly, but i want a .22 also... Or a 177, or both...

Once the Marauder (of any caliber) has been tuned, it is very quiet. Some of the airgun magazines describe the Marauder as the "gold standard" for quietness. I live in a city, and fire my 25 caliber Marauder in the back yard with zero complaints.
