Benjamin Marauder magazines hard to load

My 1 year old .177 Marauder has always been hard to insert the magazine into, and always hard to remove the mag. I bought several replacement magazines and they all are hard to push in and remove. Is there any solution to make them easier to load/unload? The bolt is not in the way, it looks like the O ring sticks out just enough to block the magazine from inserting. Really tight fit. Can I sand the plastic magazines to make them thinner? Is there a grease that I can lube the receiver area with? Any advise would be helpful.

loosen the barrel set screws to move the barrel forward enough to loosen the fit for the mag

What jphef said. Your barrel is set a mm or two too far back. Mag should slide in & out easily but with no "wobble".

Do I need to bleed the air?

1st make sure your bolt probe is not sticking out into the mag slot when cocked, most likely it's not, insert mag, loosen barrel set screws and wiggle the mag a little which should push the barrel forward a skosh and tighten the set screws - test to see if it's better. No need to de-gas
