Benjamin Marauder Gen 2

Hi All,
I've seen Ted's youtube video regarding the HDD (Hammer Debounce Device). My question is, has anyone tried this on the Marauder Gen 2? There's no way to install the receiver on top of the air resovoir without having the bolt atached to it. Again, has anyone installed this? If so, how well does it operate on the Gen 2?

The current generation of hammer debounce goodness for the Gen II Marauder is called the "TSS". It is available from Wicked Air Rifles. I currently have it (and some other goodies) installed in my Gen II Marauder. The HDD is older tech, and not the best choice anymore.

WAR TSS and a Marmot Militia hammer forged barrel are the best mods I've done to my Gen2 .22 Mrod.

Even with the cost of these items, the final package is an outstanding value.

As far as installing the TSS, I've done a lot of work on conventional firearms but never PCP air rifles. Per the installation video that I've seen for the TSS, it looks as if some significant disassmbly is required and I'm not afraid of that but I've been told that marauders are notorious for leaking after disassembly/reassembly. How difficult is it to install the TSS? Also, I'm not looking to do any drilling or polishing. I saw the picture instructions had some photos of that work having to be done. Any recommendations?

They are less likely to leak once you have cleaned them up and used silicon oil to re-assemble them. The TSS installation is a snap. Once you put in a TSS, your warranty is challenged; no harm in having it completely apart and doing it right in a single operation, rather than incrementally. The Marauder is not scary to break down to it's last part, and put it back together.

It looks like to install the TSS on its own, I don't even have to de-gas the air reservoir. All I need is the super hammer from wicked air and the TSS system and then there's no drilling/polishing required. I think I'm going in that direction to keep things as easy as possible.
