Benjamin Marauder bolt lubrication?

Hey. So I have a Benjamin Marauder in .22, and was wondering if anyone knows what to use for the bolt. The manual says to use moly graphite grease. I picked up some tubes of Sta-Lube Extreme Pressure Moly-Graph Grease, and was wondering if it is the right stuff, or if it is going to mess up my airgun.

Put a tiny bit on and whip most of it off.

That should work BUT use VERY little. By little I mean smear a small dab on your finger and rub a thin coat on the bolt. This is what I did on mine and I still had to much so I had to use a tissue to wipe some of it off. Don't get any on the probe.

I’ve always used a thin coat of 100% silicone grease on my Marauders. Heck I guess actually I use it on every airgun I own. 
Over a decade of using it, never had any problems. Not messy like any of the graphite lubes or black moly grease.

Silicone grease/lube has its purposes and works well for them. But its lubrication properties do not come close to a good grease in high wear areas.

For stationary o-rings silicon is fine and appropriate. For high wear areas, bolt actions type areas, a better alternative is recommended.

All lubes/grease attract contamination, a quality grease can suspend/encapsulate it better to help avoid wear. Key here is to not over do it, a very very little good grease goes a long way. Just use the thinnest of coatings, sparsely. You can even lightly wipe it off and enough will still be there to do the job.

this stuff sells like hotcakes, cause it is great stuff, leaves a dry film lube, use on bolts and triggers, anywhere there is metal to metal

of course you will want silicone oil for rubber o-rings
