What scopes, moderators, and modifications (if any) do you guys have on your Akela, Cayden, or Kratos? If you have a Kral version of one of these rifles, what setup and modifications have you done?

This is mine above. Little red dot and a Donnyfl. I thought the stock air stripper was silly:

Otherwise handsome gun and really traditional look. I don't know how you guys are liking yours, but this thing is accurate and for that reason I have to put this as one of my favorite air rifles. It isn't a Weihrauch but heck, the gun is fun.

Edit: Also what FPS are you getting?

880-895 is my average with the hammer lowered.

I also have a Cayden. It wears an Athlon 6-24x50 scope.

So far i have lightened the trigger pull form 2.9 lbs to .8 by replacing two trigger springs and lubing all parts with molly lube.

It was shooting well over 900 fps with the HS backed all the way ,so i took one coil off the HS and it now shoots the 18.13 grainers at an average of 855 fps for 50 shots with a spread of 18 fps. There is a lot of room for HS adjustment ,it's still backed all the way out,if wanted to up the speed again.

Even at 90 yards it will stack pellets, thing is it's almost always windy up on my hill.No suppressor yet,i got enough land so i can shoot powder burners anytime, but i might get one anyway. The gun is very well built and it outshoots my old FX Tarantula, love my Cayden.

I am a short guy at only 5’6”. I am considering the Akela to get the weight more compact to my body. How much does the shorter length affect longer range accuracy? This may by used for field target and small game hunting.

thanks !

I think you will only get 50-70 yards out of these. The Akela is accurate from people telling me all the time. Ask @odoyle if he likes his. Field and Target? I would go regulated Marauder FT for field and target with a Lother Walther barrel. That or an HW or AA regulated gun

Here’s my Cayden with an older model Optisan Viper, DonnyFl Tanto and a Swagger bipod. Twelve shot average of 919 fps on high power with 18gr JSB’s. Haven’t been able to sight it in yet but hopefully soon. Got it on sale for $390, couldn’t pass it up after hearing good things about the Benjamin Craftsman line of guns.

What? $390! That's amazing... Well done.

I have a Kratos, I replaced the steel tank with a Carbon fiber tank and did a trigger job to 1.5 lbs.

Fantastic rifle.

I also went for the Kratos. Thing is much more accurate than I am. (out of practice, it's coming back though...) I've been thinking about the bottle swap as well. This is a lot of airgun for the money.
