Benjamin fortitude hunting tune?

Hey fellas I was wondering if any of you guys have taken the regulater out of the fortitude and or opened up transfer ports etc. Heres why I ask. I love lightweight guns. I have a 7 year old and I like to have guns she can work with too but even if I didn't I like lightweight guns with open sights. I would really like 80 to 150fps faster than fortitude provides. I was going to get the disco or the maximus but the multishot has me willing to give up the open sights and get a reflex or something. What kind of power and shot count have you guys gotten by taking that reg out and such. I really don't mind 177 or 22.

The fortitude has more than enough power out of the box for hunting small game.

looking through all the Mods here and other forums, the Fortitude is Not a great Platform for Increasing fps. I like mine at the stock setting, but increase the Gen.2 hammer spring setting to maximum of 6 turns, for a few more fps, and or shoot a Lighter pellet like a Preditor GTO pellet, they are 11.75 grain in .22cal or get a Marauder, but you loose the Nice Light rifle.

Yeah I was afraid of that. I thought I could tune it to fill to 2000psi and get similar results as the maximus but multishot. It's good though I think I'm just getting the disco soon. Thanks guys

I don’t think they sell the disco anymore. It was discontinued.

As others have already said, getting more power out of the Fortitude is a challenge. Primarily, because of the very small plenum. Tweaking the reg pressure and opening the port will get a little, but not what you are looking for.

as a kid, i shot a daisy powerline 922 at around 500 fps. til this day ithink i shot more stuff with that gun than any other.
