Adjusting in the hammer spring doesn’t make a big difference on the fortitude. The only thing I can think of is to take out the regulator and adjust it. That gun gives you a good shot count but is a little low on power.Mine barely makes 20 FPE.
As mentioned adjusting the regulator will help. Once adjusted you will need to adjust the hammer spring or replace it with a heavier one. Likely a slightly larger transfer port, with the valve and barrel ports matched to it, will increase FPE as well.
The plenum on the Fortitude is just the space in the valve and it is a short one at that. The typical methods mentioned above will not obtain 100 more FPS. It needs a bigger plenum, but is not that easy to do. I converted one to 25 cal/40fpe. The key was making a “bridge” to span the vent and the trigger assy screw hole.
It's not designed to put out more power, just shoot it as it is because it's really tuned from factory to be at it's sweet spot. If you want more power then get a different gun or run lighter ammo to get the speed you want.
