Benjamin fortitude .177 or .22

Looking at getting the Benjamin fortitude. I only plink and target shoot. I have the Gamo Urban and the Air Venturi Avenger both in .22

The Avenger is a great gun but I fill from a 66cf tank and it only gets about 2-3 full fills at 4300psi. the Urban fills to 3000psi and I get about 4-6 fills after the Avenger.



I was thinking that I should add the Benjamin fortitude to my collection. Sense both of my guns are .22 ,My question is Do you thing I should stick with .22 or go with .177

again I only target shoot No hunting or pesting.

Ithe .177 is in stock but the .22 is out of stock and pass due.

Since you're not planning on hunting/pesting, why not get the .177? Ammo is cheap and you'll get a lot of shots from the Fortitude. You can also use a hand pump.

Might be nice to mix it up.

I have had the 177 and the 22. You would love the 177.

ueah ammo avalability and price should be one of the mainconsiderations for a gun you actually want to shoot alot lol .. i just bought another 177 for that very reason .. im not paying 30 bucks a tin for pellets to burn plinking ..

Sadly the Fortitude is $423.80 at Crosman now. Up from $309 before any discount. I got my .177 Gen 2 for about $237 shipped a little over a year ago.

Here are my thoughts on the .177 Benjamin Fortitude Gen 2. It is my only working airgun air rifle right now and I use it for pesting in my yard. I am considering buying a DAR .177 Gen 2 as well. $269.95 and free shipping.
