I’m foreseeing a problem with the Akela side lever as I am left handed. Hope it isn’t in the way of my cheek weld!!!

I foresee a problem with the Akela stock. I shoot lefty and am worried about the side lever getting in the way of my cheek weld!!!

I've tried it left handed within no issues. You do have a little more movement to cycle the lever for the next shot but not an issue. It is comfortable either way.

Thank you for the info. I feel much better about it now. I watched a couple of uTubes reviews after I ordered it and was a little concerned.

I shoot the Kral Puncher Breaker lefty and I firmly believe there is no worry about the lever. Enjoy your new gun and tell us all about it.

Had my Akela for about a week now and quite taken with it. Shooting NSA 17.5 slugs on high power and stacking at 30 yards. H&N Baracuda and H&N Sniper Magnums also shoot very well. Will be testing some heavier pellets and slugs next week.
The Akela is very quiet, backyard friendly even on MAX power. Safety is manual, cocking is very smooth, and trigger was pretty lite out of the box. Barrel was "Crosman Dirty" so had to be cleaned before shooting.
Biggest negative so far is that the safety is very stiff, but that will smooth out with more use. Overall, I am pretty impressed so far!!!
