Second set from Benjamin Cayden, 18.13 grain JSB Jumbo Heavy. (3000-1800 psi, 60 shots)

1-12 (874-890) - Extreme spread, 16 fps

13-24 (859-883) - Extreme spread, 24 fps (something is wrong here, several are abnormally low).

25-36 (879-895) - Extreme spread, 16 fps

37-48 (865-887) - Extreme spread, 22 fps

Summary high of 895, low 865 with extreme spread of 36 fps for 48 shots.

Something was wrong with shots 13-24, because all 12 were abnormally low for some reason. Shot 49 was 874, where as shot 13 was only 859.

49-60 (874-847) - Extreme spread, 27 fps.

Total 60 shots high 895, low 847 extreme spread 48 fps.

I feel confident that with sorted pellets the Cayden is capable of 50-52 shots with extreme spread of 20 fps or less.. Unsorted it should easily do 48 shots with an extreme spread of 25 fps or less.. (already been done)..

My friend bought one at the same time as I did and his is more powerful, shooting about 20 fps faster than mine but with much fewer shots.. He shoots 40 shots with extreme spread of 60 fps and I shoot 48 shots with extreme spread of 24 fps and 60 shots with an extreme spread of 48 fps. Mine is about 32 fpe and his is about 33.5 fpe..

He has shot his Cayden with ¼ inch groups at 40 yards, I have not yet tested mine, (very cold and bunch of snow).. Hoping mine is also accurate.. I feel optimistic that it will be accurate and serve me well..

I am very happy with my Cayden as it shoots 18.13 grain pellets mostly in the mid 880’s, and I am cool with that.. I paid $390 for mine, and am pleased about that too..

How often do you fire your PCPs OVER the 3K fill?!?!?!? I have been overthinking reloading powder burner rounds and how specific things are... VS you CHARGING UP TO 4K!!! I would near have a Yelling Session at myself IF i filled even beyond 3.1K psi on a 3K!!!

I have wide array of experience in tPCP and firearms repairs/reloading/etc, four decades of nearly.... a HighSpeed learning curve when tunnelVisioned....and now PCP world has my full attention and resources for making parts, bands, shims, about everything all my PCPs and regs have been needing..

I have the Akela .22, which i have been casting my own NOE .218 HP rounds with, the Pin=Cling is a pain while Casting, but when the NOE Moulds HP .218 SLUGS go, they impact my gongs clear out to 89yard with a 25gr. they are, tremendous, with 99.9% LEAD which is from RotoMetals and then i flux with my 100% AirRifle range scrap picked daily.

Something i find, if i do NOT clean rigorously with the NOE SLUGS i cast, the leading becomes considerable and i have to deep clean with JB NonEmbedding BoreCleaner, and natural NonPetrol bore cleaner. After about 20-25 patches later, i am firing .218 flawless out of Akela beyond 100yard, clear up to 35shot - and about any other of 20-something types of pellets, it is dead-on, aside from distance accounting, of course. the H&N.218 HP 25gr flies amazingly flat at 78 and 89yards!

anyhow, after some modifications to their 'SLIPS OUT' magazine design, i shimmed with gorilla tape. If people have same model, good LUCK not losing your magazine as the lever of brush/woods/swamps... and the magazine FALLS INTO OBLIVION, no mater how much BRIGHT ORANGE G.Tape on it to see! ALthough i cannot find a magazine spare ANYWHERE(any hints??) I printed a couple single shot trays for use of chronograph and when testing wide varieties over ranges out to 200yard, with this PCP, obviously, that is a 'aim fifteen feet high', but it hammers the full-sized Silhouette AR500 3/8" even at 174yard, with about four types of slugs in .218 and under 25gr.all with Chinese Air Compressor #SEVEN for the year... and a battle each time they fail to get insurance replacement. at least it has AUTO SHUT OFF!!!

All this to be said, i was curious if you have just tried ever attaching the moderator directly to end of barrel, shroud removed, but on Akela, its inset a couple inches, so an extension adapter. other than #d printing some barrel band supports for the plain naked barrel, i want to add LDC to end and NOT have shroud.

Im trying to modify the moderators that exist for Bulldog, and i wonder if a backwards/LowRider design might print well for this application on Akela/etc.

Do you do any printing? if so, what components have you made/addressed? Impressive, the Akela, but LACKING in DAILY OUTDOOR Living with a truck and tractor life...and i NEED TO FIX THAT...Via EasyToRemove / or NO SHROUD for SUPPORTED BARREL to NOT change Point of Impact ever time the tractor bounces. Im sick of the gorilla tape and tie wraps that are needed on Akela and the OneStud Tact Picatinny Tac Rail, i had to make a proper RAIL for, one which is LEVEL for proper GreenDot Laspur for Hip-shooting running PESTS! once i shimmed the magazine, common pellets, like Crosman 14.3gr HP Premier feed better, no more lockup when trying toi get the magazine play to allow probe to push pellet through clean/smooth.
