Benjamin Armada semi Auto valve stuck open

Brand new Benjamin armada semi auto rifle out of the box and I can not get it to fill with air.
Very disappointed after waiting like a kid for Xmas. Please help before I box it up and send it back. I’ve had other guns and they fill up no problem from 0.
I’ve even removed the foster and blew into it a few times with my air compressor, I notice the air is coming straight out of the barrel. I’m no expert but I think the valve is stuck open.
I tried cocking and uncocking and still won’t take any air. Any suggestions would greatly be appreciated.

Have you tried firing it a time or 2 while filling?
What compressor? If say an Alkin31 it certainly should be a fast enough fill, if a low budget slow filling until????
Can you hit it hard a fast with a short burst from a bottle?
Not very common with the Benjamin.

Thanks for you fast reply. I did dry fire before and adapter trying to fill but it’s at zero. Tried filling cocked and I cocked.
Air keeps escaping. I m using a vevor 4000 psi compressor. I did Vladimir a few times with my regular air compressor and air just shoots from the barrel. I don’t have a tank.

You might try to bump the side of the Armada with the heal of your hand while trying to pressurize the tank and it will certainly need to be cocked to take the pressure off of the valve. It normally takes a pretty strong blast of air from a tank to get the valve to seat the first time filling. Is there a local club or range where other airgun people meet where you might get some help? I'm pretty sure that a good initial blast from a tank will solve the problem.
