My end goal with this project is to have a slug gun shooting around 70 fpe in .25 caliber. My plan is to add the jsar balance valve, super hammer, tss system, drop down bottle conversion with the externally adjustable regulator, and a 24 inch, 1:20 th barrel. Iv tried finding these parts at the website listed on the jsar website but cant find them when i get to said website. Im wondering if there is any machining i would have to do, i work at a weld shop as a fabricator so i am somewhat mechanically inclined, and any ideas, concernens, and info on parts and installation. Unless you can find the parts USED ... Both WAR which made the thread in drop blocks, as well JSAR which did the balanced valves as well side lever breeches, SSG's or TSS are No longer being manufactured / NLA. War is out of business & JSAR a splinter of what it was 3-4 years ago. Finding or getting a NINJA adjustable regulator ... good luck with that as well.
In my time working with this rifle in .25 cal easily made 65 fpe at a tad over 2K set pressure. Air tube required some custom machining, getting it all balanced to work in harmony custom hammer / weight and a custom external SSG devise. Doable but not much drop in being pretty much all custom.
Find the parts it is very doable .....

So, basically what im hearing is save for the raptor??? Otherwise my other option is to go with the hatsan nuetron star but iv seen they have some mechanical issues. This is taken with a very small grain of salt, though, as iv only heard this happening on one rifle.

If you are looking at a heavy hitting .25 pcp, I would suggest getting a different gun. Maybe an air force or a Sumatra?

I had a similar idea when I was starting and learning. Couple years too late though.

I made a very thought-out decision and have decided to just return the armada and get the Rapid Air Weapons' HN1000X instead. If im going to spend that kind of money, i might as well just buy what im looking for... and this seems to be it!

Great decision! I went deep into the marauder customization rabbit hole and then bought a Jsar Raptor, did all kinds tuning and customization with the raptor as well.
Was it fun? Yes
Worth it? No
For all the money buying, modifying, messing up and doing it all over again, I could of bought a top tier gun and scope. Live and learn!

I would also recommend against it. I have a Marauder that I loaded up with JSAR parts several years ago. The gun was producing 65 FPE, and was very accurate. For a time. Then it wasn't. I believe the JSAR valve failed. Between the valve, air tube, hammer, TSS, etc, and the initial purchase price of the Marauder, it was an $1100 gun. It was an absolute nightmare dealing with JSAR, and the gun spent more time in their hands as parts failed or were poorly machined than in mine for a year.
Now, the gun doesn't work at all and I am in the process of swapping parts out and returning it to factory form, as a reliable 45 FPE gun beats an unreliable 65 FPE gun always. The Marauder is what it is, as is. You can make some tweaks to it, but the more you modify it, the more potential their is for parts to fail. After nagging Jacob for a year to mail me parts I paid for for a second Marauder, he finally sent them just as the JSAR ship was sinking and my first Marauder crapped the bed.
If you want a 70 FPE gun, buy one that makes that stock. There's a lot of .25's that will do that without even trying. I have a Maverick that does that with JSB 34's and the rear reg set at 108 bar-it's an eco tune that has the gun barely working and the shot count is 3-4xs what a Marauder gets. It's a couple hundred more upfront for a whole bunch of time, aggravation, and wasted money saved. Once my Marauders are returned to stock and working as they did, that is how they will spend their days. The top tier guns are worth it and Benjamin guns are great too in their own right, but there's a difference, and throwing money at a Benjamin isn't going to make it a top tier gun, but it will cost top tier money before you are done.

its official, though, RAW has been ordered on armada is going back. Dont get me wrong, i do/did enjoy the armada very much, just not enough lol. Maybe some day in the future i will come back to the marauder but for now, im going to enjoy the hell out of the new gun!
