Benjamin .177 match pellets.

Shipping was a bit slow and packaging could have been better. Thanks to USPS they arrived in great condition. I wanted to try them before the rain and wind coming the next few days so I shot some directly from the tin, my they are clean and shiny. I later put a tin in my ultrasonic cleaner and they showed a bit of lead particles but much less and more like dust than what comes off the JSB/FX brand.
My Impact M3 hasn't found anything it likes until now. The last time I shot it was turned down to shoot Fx 10.3's at 800 fps. After 5 or 8 shots to adjust the scope I was shooting 30 yard 8 shot groups MOA or better. A first for this gun. I've always enjoyed shooting this gun I just haven't been able to get it anywhere near accurate until now. The fun factor jumped up a lot.
I can hardly wait to try them a bit faster after cleaning and lubed with Pledge spray. Now that it's raining I'll weigh some and see how consistent they are. Thank you Benjamin
Now to order more...still waiting for the JTS in .177

My Benjamin’s just showed up and they shoot very good out to about 40yds then start becoming unstable at 50yd. They shoot at 860fps out of my RAW. It Was about 45deg. And raining When these were shot.

In the next day or so I will test some more and post targets. At this point they shoot as well or better out to 40yds compared to JSB 10.3’s

Next step will be to test against some of the older Brown box crossman’s I still have One box left.

Update, some groups shot with the match Benj’s, the Brown box premiere’s and the 10.3 jsb. All at 40yds in not ideal conditions! But that’s ok because this is real world conditions you will face at a match and performance in the wind helps me judge a pellet’s performance.
These are all 7-8 shot groups not 10 which I normally do.

I weighted a tin of pellets and measured a few.
Strange my Amazon scale while repeatable and measures a 1 and 3 gram calibrated weights correctly it will not display 10.47 or 10.50 grain. 10 of the 10.49 pellets weighed together came out to 105.06gn.
4 <= 10.41
24 = 10.42 or .43
45 = 10.45
53 = 10.46
79 = 10.48
80 = 10.49
67 = 10.51
72 = 10.52
49 = 10.53
29 = 10.54 and up, heavy was 10.60
502 total

Then I measured the head size of the 10.49's
4.54 = 6
4.53 = 36
4.52 = 22
4.51 = 16

36 and 22 shots my be enough for me to decide if there is a real difference in this gun. Waiting for a perfect day.
It wasn't fun at all.

Thats pretty darn consistent from a weight standpoint. All but 33 would be back in the same tin for me. I wouldn't have guessed there was so much variation in head size. I'm only basing that on how they felt being loaded though.

Measuring head size with a 'Pellet Gage ' is an art rather than science. There is minor variations in roundness and some could fit by moving the head around a bit in the hole, I thought that was cheating so if they didn't almost fall in they went to the next size.
I'm no expert at this.
I've had the same concerns with the Pelletgage and pretty much gave up on it because of it. These days if I load one and it feels off I just shoot it away and load another. Either way, thank you for taking the time to do the heavy lifting for us.
