So my new Ben. Marauder broke the bank with its $550 price tag for gun and pump. I can't afford the $100 scope I want right now but I love hunting. The Ben. Marauder does not come with iron sights so I had to find a solution. I cut a small piece of orange weed eater string and cut a "V" in the center of it. I used a clear drying caulk to adhere it to the shroud just before the barrel band. This is my front sight. I use the dove tail rail as my rear sight and pitch the front of the barrel up depending on distance to my target.
I like to hunt at night for rabbit. Its just not possible to hold a flashlight and gun at the same time. So here is my solution. I made this band to wear around my head that has a sleeve for my flashlight. The flashlight is adjusted to light up my optic and the target.
Since I need to pitch the end of my rifle up for distance of 20 yards or more the target gets obscured by the end of the barrel so it takes some practice, but the results speak for themselves.
