yes indeed they at first glassing can be this thick or MORE .... Great thing is once the new born hit the surface the Females who were nursing for months come out to finally eat the newly sprouted alfalfa. Small or Big targets ... what too do what too do ? SHOOT EM !!!

My Belding hunt, from way back and now without squirrels, was perfect in every way. Buildings, equipment in a yard, shooting slightly downhill, and rats all the way around a pointy tit shaped mountain. They would get tired of seeing comrades fall and retreat then I walk 100 yards, rinse and repeat.
High, dry and SUNNY and you need a 30 gallon hat and lots of water to stay decent in it.
