There is a Beeman R7 and an R9 at Pyramid Air for sale. Are these the ones that are built by Weihrauch or are they off shore? Does any one know?
My mission is to to get a few Beeman’s (made in Germany) if possible. Thanks Crow

The R7's and HW30s have always been made in Germany.

I was told that Beeman used to be manufactured by Weihrauch. Now they’re being manufactured in China? I hope I‘m wrong, but is this true? Not that there’s anything wrong with made in China but I would prefer it made in Germany. Thanks Crow

The R1 through R11 were always made by Weihrauch. That has never changed. There is a line of Chinese guns labeled Beeman, it this in no way involves the R1 through R11 including the current R7 and R9.

The R7 is the same as the Weihrauch HW30

and

the R9 is the same as the Weihrauch HW95.

Beeman just imported them for years and changed the names.

Just received a new R7 from AD this week. Clearly marked Made in Germany right on the side. Good luck!

I just received an R9 .177 from PA this week, also clearly marked "Made in Germany".

RWSx3; another five minutes I’m going to ask you to stop talking that way. I was told by the shop that carried Beeman’s in my area, they were no longer being made, this was eight mo. ago. So this is music to my ears. A R9 will work for sure. Are the R1 and R11 also available as well? Crow

I think just the R9 and the R7 are the only Beeman branded models left.

Beeman is an importer and really no more than that. R Beeman did design some guns (P1, R1) but never made them. HW was never the sole gun they sold, it ranged from HW to FWB, Diana, Webley and more. If you can rebuild/tune an HW don't worry about finding them new look for used and do the work if needed.

Beemans is actually 2 companies now. The Beeman Precision name was bought by Air Venturi to import the r7 r9 from HW in Germany. Beeman Marksman imports the QB 78 family of guns from China. I just got my 2nd R7 last week. It was made in germany. I have a QB78 delux c02 from china thats a simple plinker.

Not trying to hijack the thread but / Anyone else notice the Beeman branded models of the HW’s have nicer stocks than the Weihrauch branded rifles? Seen a lot of new posts of guys showing off their new Beeman R7’s & R9’s- all with really nice stocks.

Yes. I like that the Beeman version of Hws have ambi stocks with cheek pieces on both sides. You can shoot a right cheek piece gun lefty no problem. But if i can get an ambi. I prefer it.

 Man was I out in left field. Again only two years of this (Airguns)and with COVID-19 been living in a bubble, in no man’s land. I was told they were strictly made by Weihrauch then polished and fine tuned by Beeman. 
The only Beeman I have is a P-11 and love it. I’m going to see if my contact can bring a 7 and 9 up for me, I’m in Canada. He got me my 54 pro laminate up for me, took four weeks. Thanks Crow

Your collection is second to none. Really enjoy all the models, and the comments that accompany.

I have never taken a springer apart or done a tune-up of any kind. I have the tools. I’m confident I will be able to. Actually can’t wait to get into one. Even though I’m retired I’m not free till probably the fall. Thanks Crow

I have a Beeman 97K I bought used from Mark over on GTA. I think it was made in 2014 from the ser # lookup I found. I still get confused on the Beeman / HW distinctions. I really like my gun though, regardless of the name on it.

Thanks for the compliments. 2 big things I would say about rebuilds, watch plenty of videos and use a spring compressor. As far as favorite gun I never answer that fearing my other guns will get jealous
