I have the compressor. I’ve been watching tons on u-tube, by the fall should have a good idea.

Are the internals the same on the above, with cosmetic changes to the external to differentiate?

other than some being sub 12 everything but the spring as far as I know should be the same except for ''some" of the stocks. Some stocks are the same pending vintage and or model.

DualMagMike I did look into secondhand. In Canada just about nonexistent. Probably 90% of your collection, never made it on our side of the border. You guys are lucky!

Sheesh, that's odd I bought my HW97KT (new) FROM Canada a while back as they had the best price around at the time.

Very rare will you ever see us with a cheaper price the than USA. Except for water. When you got your HW97KT probably the reason it was cheaper was because your dollar was so strong it was about a buck and a half to our one.

I used to frequent Michigan before COVID-19 and even when there was a 40% difference on the dollar I could still find deals. And your selection in almost everything is better. I’m envious. The Internet of course makes it a lot more accessible for everyone.

Got the HW30 .177, HW35E .177 (Silver and Blue), .22 (Blue), HW50S .20, HW95L (.25, .22), HW95 .177, HW98 (.25, .20, .177), R9 .177, HW97K-T .20, HW80 (.25, .22).



It depends because my R9 (an HW95L basically with a gold trigger and Beeman R9 inscription) is extremely smooth, accurate and quiet--a good thing for any air rifle.

But the velocity on my R9 is lower than the MV of my HW95 (Both are .177 and both shoot Kaiser pellets to point of aim with faultless aplomb).

The HW95 .177 has a tighter bore and I can feel that when pushing in a pellet compared to the R9. The reaction and speed downrange for the HW95 .177 is over 50 fps faster than the regular R9 and yet the HW95 cost me LESS!

The R9 has a stock that really should be looked over again for comb height--it is HARD to use open sights on an ambidextrous stock like the HW95L or R9.

If you WANT to mount a scope then the R9 or HW95L is better suited for that as a sole use.

But if you want R9 get HW95 without the ambi stock and receive higher velocity.

Fisher thanks, I ordered both, I canceled the .177, didn’t want two guns same stock. I have no Beeman’s, made by Weihrauch. I would like one while still available as well a HW95L. I will scope them out. This started for me just over two yrs. ago I can already see there’s no end. Crow
