I am getting ready to place an order for (3) new rifles in a couple weeks:
1. Weihrauch HW50S (.177cal)
2. Beeman R7 (.177cal)
3. Beeman R9 (caliber ?)
I currently own an Air Arms TX200 (.177), Weihrauch HW98 (.22), SIG ASP20 (.22) and am looking to round out my Airgun inventory. I had a Diana 48 in .22 but didn’t care for it much compared to my other rifles so I sold it to my oldest son. I didn’t get along with the side cocking mechanism too well or the balance of that rifle. It did shoot accurately though. It’s the R9 that has me stumped. I just can’t decide on a caliber !
. I’m actually thinking of possibly a .20cal but pellet selection is a concern as they don’t have many flavors in that one. I would like to hear other’s input and first hand experiences with the R9 and the calibers used. Being here in the USA, am not constrained by FPE restrictions so I can have whatever I want power wise. At some point down the road I’ll add a HW97K .177 to finish up my stable but the R9 and the other two rifles mentioned above have priority at the moment. Thanks in advance for the input
