Beeman Beeman R9 Tune

I started to install a Vortex PG4 Steel kit in my R9 today. The rifle was over lubed and the spring broken. What I ran into was the steel sleeve on the rear of the Vortex kit measures .850" OD and the R9 piston measures .825" ID. I don't know if Vortex makes a smaller steel sleeve or I will need to purchase a new piston.

Vortek did have them .. little pricey but ashame you did not know to throw one in the cart with your spring order to save the shipping .

Maybe AoA or a uk shop cheaper overall?

Out of stock , but that's hw parts today it seems. Parts are pretty thin..

ARH kits tend to last longer, the newer cocking shoe on my old style R9 resulted in me having to elongate the cocking lever opening about 3/4" So a word to the wise, be sure to cock your R9 slowly to see if the new style cocking shoe is going to work without some "woodwork"
I put one in backwards by hurry up goof and had that.
