yes the r1 is but the stock does not look like the ones they made years ago.... now they just put the hw 80 stock on the r1.

Current R1 stock is like a R9Deluxe w/checkering on grip and fore-end. HW80 just has checkering on grip. I know its same gun.

Places like Krale in the Netherlands have put a hurting on the over priced Beeman name as of late... Can get a HW80 for just under $400 shipped !

sadly this is the stock that is being offered now on new r1 airs guns... as far as I know they arnt sold with delux r9 stocks any more

pa have been offering the old hw 80 stock on the r1 now for at least a year or 2 as far as I know.

Thanks guys. I msg'd PA and that is exactly what they said. The R1 and HW80 are now the same gun. The fancy stock and muzzle-brake are no more.

The Goudy designed stocks were a high point in the Beeman period in my opinion. I was lucky enough to snag an R10 Deluxe stock for my newer R9-it needed a tiny bit of work on the cocking slot but adds class to a really fine gun.
