That looks EXACTLY like my rifle. Same exact stock & emblem. There's some confusion as to what a Laser rifle was/is. You could get a kit to make an R1 lok like a Laser rifle but when sent to factory or bought from, here is the basic process.
1. Internals were plated with chrome & copper for smoothness & NO galling,
2. Barrel was aligned, with Laser levels & bore sighted. No droop.
3. Blue emblem embedded in left side of stock
Most were laminate, and blonde was a coveted one. There is the MKI, II, III & III is a gas piston. Others here know more about it then I do. My Laser I have for sale is a true Laser stock but all internals are gone. Tuned by John in PA, well done, no plating. Also Santa Rosa W. Germany, fine micro adjustable rwar sights & hooded front insert set. At 32 yards and a finely filed inverted V front post I can put pellets within a dime to a nickel with a solid black aiming point. The rifle deserves a scope but when scoped I do not enjoy shooting it. I'm in the process of selling or trading it as I wish to own another TX200 or better yet another 48-54 Diana model as I just prefer fixed barrels. Only thing I DON't like about TX200's, is no open sights. In my book, all guns should have open sights in case scope breaks, fails, etc. Very nice though, Great shooting.
