Beeman R1 Laser

This is another old Jewel that was abused! Paid $200 for it. Redid the stock. The first time I shot it the seal disintegrated into little bits. Resealed And re lubed it and ended up just like new. Shot only these two 5 shot groups this this afternoon at 25 yards. Both fit under the dimes. It loves the heavy pellets.

That looks EXACTLY like my rifle. Same exact stock & emblem. There's some confusion as to what a Laser rifle was/is. You could get a kit to make an R1 lok like a Laser rifle but when sent to factory or bought from, here is the basic process.

1. Internals were plated with chrome & copper for smoothness & NO galling,

2. Barrel was aligned, with Laser levels & bore sighted. No droop.

3. Blue emblem embedded in left side of stock

Most were laminate, and blonde was a coveted one. There is the MKI, II, III & III is a gas piston. Others here know more about it then I do. My Laser I have for sale is a true Laser stock but all internals are gone. Tuned by John in PA, well done, no plating. Also Santa Rosa W. Germany, fine micro adjustable rwar sights & hooded front insert set. At 32 yards and a finely filed inverted V front post I can put pellets within a dime to a nickel with a solid black aiming point. The rifle deserves a scope but when scoped I do not enjoy shooting it. I'm in the process of selling or trading it as I wish to own another TX200 or better yet another 48-54 Diana model as I just prefer fixed barrels. Only thing I DON't like about TX200's, is no open sights. In my book, all guns should have open sights in case scope breaks, fails, etc. Very nice though, Great shooting.

There is Laserized and then there are Laser R1's. The Laserized is what the OP is and keeps the original stock with internal mods the full Laser versions are all laminates. There was no copper any where that I am aware of on any and I believe the chromed piston was an option. I have a Laserized .22 carbine @24fpe, Laser MKI .177 @20+fpe and a MKII .177 @19+fpe.
