I bought my Beeman R1 .177 in the early 80's from Robert Beeman's shop on Paul Drive in northern San Rafael. At the time of sale he told me it would be a collectors gun because it was double stamped on the left side. I'm attempting to find out what it's worth. It has no barrel pitting, blueing is and stock are excellent condition,, . I've come across a couple of forums that said only the first couple of R1's were double stamped on the left side, and there's only one other like it which is in the 'Beeman Museum". (?) I do have it's sight-in target but do not have the box nor receipt as it was a walk-in over the counter type sale. Please comment.
