Beeman Beeman Hurricane

so you say it will not cock
does that mean the handle will not hold at full coking position or something else
can it be repaired sure that are relatively easy to work on and parts are plentiful in the UK
so, what would i do, i would look at the trigger parts and see if they are moving freely if not a very small amount of lube in the trigger area but keep the gun butt down
this will show great trigger assembly pictures

I have a Beeman Hurricane (Webley & Scott) that I purchased many years ago and only used it for Target Practice. I pulled it out this week and it will not cock. Could some one tell me what the issue might be, and how I can get it repaired?
Can be one of 3 reasons. Most common is the trigger lightening adjustment screw has gone too far to the far margin and not holding sear. If you can draw your barrel back but it's not holding this is the reason and the simplest first step. Simply adjust the trigger adjustment screw back a turn until latching is made.
If your barrel is not moving, I.e jammed, or only partially moving, it can be a worn linkage, or broken mainspring.
Both very easy fixes and parts readily available to order.
