Beeman 850/Diana Model 6M pistol...

Saw one on Gunbroker while browsing for something else, put in a minimum bid just to see if I could break the ice and see what it was really worth. Well, it's "New, old stock", excellent condition, has the Diana recoil cancelling double piston/double spring setup, and it's all mine! NOBODY else bid. I'd never heard of it, and now I own one. Unique piece, to be sure.

Anyone here ever shoot one or seen it in action?

Congrats on your find. I have a similar model. It is an early Daina Original 10 imported by Beeman. Great target pistol. Real fun to shoot.

Looks like it is in great shape. Only negative thing about them is spinning the barrel jacket before you cock it. I suppose it is to protect your hand from the sharp front sight blade.

Pellets around 7 gr. will keep the velocity up - I use RWS R10 (7.0 gr.) & JSB Match Light (Green label, 7.33 gr.),

I bought a RWS 6M and it was an extremely accurate pistol but you definitely have to rotate the barrel cover before cocking or you'd cut your hand on the front sight.
I sold mine some years ago and all I have now is the original box. Did you also get the box with your gun?

Haven't shot anything lighter than
H&N Match Pistol 7.56gr (4.49mm head size) 441fps at 3.27fpe

According to the Model 10 manual the velocity rating is between 394 and 443fps

I'm so happy today..put in a .20 bbl, .resealed and put a Tinbum tuning kit in my Beeman P1 today. Shoots like a different pistol!

What is the velocity of the P1 with the Tinbum kit?

Haven't shot it thru the chrono yet, but I had to put the stock spring back in because I couldn't fit the delrin guides into the new one!

Wadcutter~ with the original spring it's shooting the .20 cal 11.42 gr at 335-350, average is 342 fps. I'd like to fit that new spring and try again, before putting the .177 bbl back on.

I have a P1 in .177 and HW 45 in .22 but cannot get much over 5fpe out of either one with new springs, seals and minimal lube. Have read claims of 6fpe on the net.
