I tried taking this 66R apart as the reticle rotated, then decided to go further to clean up the optics. I got as far as the power adjustment ring. I rotated it past where the set screw engages the inner sliding tube, and cannot get it lined up. It is hopelessly stuck so it only turns about 30 degrees in either direction on the tube and hits very rigid “stops”. I cannot see what is preventing me from turning it past this point. Is there a trick to getting this off ? thanks
