Hi guys,
I'm new to the scene and can't wait to purchase my first air rifle, just want a few opinions first if you would be so kind. :)

I was originally just going to purchase the Remington express (.22) which a friend of mine owns.
I came across the Crosman Phantom Mk2 (.22) - http://www.gunmart.net/gun_review/crosman_phantom
Then the Beeman 1084 Carnivore (.22) - http://www.gunmart.net/gun_review/beeman_1084_carnivore

The gun will mainly be used to shoot small quarry and with enough target shooting to hone my skills.
I just want something that is of decent build quality that shoots accurate (probably what everyone here wants).

So out of these two.. Well, three. Which should i buy? Would they be suitable? Is there a obvious better option that you can think of within (near) my price range.

I did look at purchasing a BSA Lightning SE (.22) or even a Weihrauch HW95k (.22) but these are over my ideal budget for a first gun and have since decided against it.
I can always get something higher-end in a year or so if i am still keen. Will I end up regretting this decision..?

Thanks for any help/advice, all the best.

What's your budget, and what's your friend selling you the Remington for? I ask because: A, there may be better choices than those listed by you, and still within your budget; and B, not that I think any one is better than the other, but it sounds like you can at least try the Remington? If you enjoy shooting this rifle, it looks to be in good condition, and the owner is offering the right deal...maybe go with what you can actually put your hands on before buying.
