trying to convert a beeman 1040 to full power. installed the high power spring but cant get it to cock by a few mm if that. I think the top hat is hitting the spring guide. any ideas on why it wont cock or how I can get it to cock?

doyle the trigger pack has pins and a screw slot that it has to align with that doesnt make sense?

all he did was stretch the spring doubt that even does anything. I'm tryna fit a hp spring from a phantom 1000. it's at maximum coil bind is there any other way to cut the spring besides a ankle grinder or heating it up?

So you are trying to stuff in an oversized mainspring?
You can also use a heavy duty wire cutter or a hacksaw and free or emery boards and sandpaper and gas stove flame if you don't have an angle grinder or a torch.
I would have tried a spring from a hardware store as a replacement before doing this but thats just me.
