I think I liked sitting out on the pond to hear all the night sounds going off. Great to just sit and listen to all that. Hate to cut the beavers down but it's a tree farm. Owner would have had them trapped. Its warm in NC finally, hope it's good for you guys out there also.
It's my Nitesite Wolf its .AVI format no HD but I was in a bad position and was getting feed back from my infrared being reflected back into my screen. The animals out smarted me and went to far corner of 1 acre pond and left of my planned kill zone. I was palming the stock bottom to hold it at right angle and just looking into side of viewer to get shots off around a tree I was next too. I operate a clubcar pioneer with Caldwell stable table bolted in bed to get anywhere I want for my pest control. I'm going to use it to put some more coyotes down soon. Mr iceman I operate on other side of state from you. I can see the black mountains from my back porch, that's Mitchel and Grandfather to give you an idea. I just checked flights to iquana country and its slash rates to Puerto Rico so I think it's time to ring my buddy down there and impose on him.
Monkeyshine you pulled the trigger for perfect timing he swam right into it that's hard to do with only about 1 to1 1/2" of head out of the water I can relate - hunting nutria when they are swimming is the same senerio but when that pellet or slug hits it mark what a feeling . Nice shot darell
Mr kayaker I can relate to the Nutria swim pattern I was raised in swamps of South Louisiana hunting those super rats we brought up from Brazil. As a kid we got two dollars apiece for them. Alligator was not legal to hunt when I was a young lad or I would be wealthy.
