Just a quick picture of my AF Texan SS .457 (shooting 290 and 340 grainers) with an Emperor V 3 + extension, alongside my “just received today” M3 .25 600 mm with a Ronin installed (shooting 43 grainers).The Optisan CP 4-16X40 seems to be awesome but I used medium height rings. Not good! High rings on the way. The M3 is way quieter than the Tex as configured. Go Figure (LoL) The Tex will blow thru 2” of plywood. The M3 - Nope. 43’s seem to be accurate right out of the box but my sight picture is difficult right now. Got a heavy slug barrel installed. Can’t wait for more trigger time as I am recovering from a knee surgery. My backyard target is at 40 yards. Need to make the target quieter. Two inch thick plywood in front of a bin of rubber mulch. So fun.
