I thought this post was going to be about something like the 'tennis ball canons' we used to make back in the day.
Beer cans were made of steel. We cut the top and bottom off 4 or 5 of them. Duct taped them together with the breech can having a 'church key' opening on the bottom and several key cuts around the top. Squirted a little lighter fluid into the breech can, dropped a tennis ball in the muzzle, lit the touch hole.......FFffffooooom.....That ball would fly....
