Has anyone used the limb saver de-resonator on a fx crown, i used 1 years ago on a ruger break barrel with some success , but being the fx is a barrel with in a shroud will it work?

I think in the default configuration of a FX with the barrel "floating" inside a shroud it might be less good VS the same gun but with the support of a carbon fiber tube instead of the 3 O rings, cuz that way it must be a more rigid barrel VS with the sort of 3 "shock absobers" in form of the O rings.
I also think it is why FX came up with the carbon fiber liners first, CUZ otherwise the barrel itself would be resonating inside the O rings and not all of that transferring into the shroud, the carbon fiber force the 2 to act as one with whatever harmonic profile that then might be.
At least that is my 2 cent assumption.

Yeah, good luck getting that thing stretched onto the shroud without messing something up. Even with some lube, it takes a LOT of effort and is really hard to move when you do finally get it on. I couldn't see where it made much difference, so I cut it off. My take is that the juice definitely wasn't worth the squeeze!
