Tuning Barrel droop?

Chances are your cocking linkage is binding on the breech block. The last new 98 I tuned had this. To fix it you have to put a slightly bend in cocking arm. This happens to lots of 95 family guns since 2019. I've probably fixed 6 or 7 for people.

I'm 90% sure this is the cause of my issues as the linkage has no "wiggle" in lockup. I need to take the stock off for a closer look. Thank you!

I had this on the last 2 HW50s I took out of the box. After the tune kits were installed, the scopes didn't have enough elevation to sight in. The droop was obvious just looking down the side of the stock along the barrel. Simply centered the scope and bent the barrel in the crook of a tree til impacts were hitting near the crosshairs. All done. Normally I would use a scope mount with some droop built in, but both of these rifles were getting scopes too short for a one piece mount.
