First remove your shroud , then cock your mini and push your crown saver thru the muzzle end and out the breach end then put 3 to 4 patches in the crown saver ( I like them to fit the barrel very tight) put your palm of one hand over the end of the air tube then pull the patches thru the barrel , it should take some effort , then change patches and repeat till they come out clean. Reinstall your shroud and apply a very small amount of silicone grease to the orings in the shroud first and some on a q-tip and apply to probe or to breach oring , if you put a thin film on the probe you can just cycle the cocking leaver a few times to get the lube on the breach oring.
I llike to use dry patches. I only use ballistol for cleaner and lube about once a year or so , mainly dry patches.
Just my opinion , thats the way I do it.
