Barra H50 vs Barra FT?

I notice the H50 is no longer listed on the Barra site. They seem to have transitioned to the FT.

is the glass the same?

They "transitioned" in 2018............to out of business. Web site not updated since 2017. Facebook not updated since 2018. Not listed as a business with Georgia.gov

Their physcal location now occupied by - i-Blason LLC ..................apparently they left no forwarding address either.

Not sure what’s going on there but the FT looks the same as H50 and glass looked the same. Great Japanese glass but not so great turrets and terrible reticle but they are dirt cheap depends on which scope. However they are really well made and designed for powder burner hunting rifles. Depends on your drop it’s very usable out to 100 yards.

I have a Barra FT H50, bought it a couple of months ago.

Great scope, except that the parallax is not accurate. 

I have to set the parallax focus at about 36 meters when looking at a target 30m away to be parallax free. I am unsure if there is a way to correct this.

Apart from this, it's an excellent $200 scope.

I no longer recommend Barra scopes due to questionable Warranty concerns no matter how fantastic their scopes are for really dirt cheap.

I still buy them for myself though. They are roughly 1/5 the price of comparable Japanese scopes.

Buy the Crimson Trace 3 series from MidwayUSA for less than half their regular price that's got similar glass as the Barra with Lifetime Warranty.
