Barn Beater P15 vs. Muskrat

My busted looking .25 cal P15 got this Nutria Rat at 46 yards today(JSB 25.39).I call it the barn beater gun because I keep it in the barn as you can see it has no safety,no trigger guard,and frankly no trigger.Well hardware store parts made trigger anyway.But damn it still shoots well.One shot to the dome and about a 8 second helicopter tail and it was over.

this one in the water I got at like 2am few days ago with the Uragan .25 and an fx 25.4 pellet at 103 yards(have video)..when I went to get it later during daylight,there were about four little snapping turtles spinning it trying to get a grip on it but were seeming to have a hard time,I figured I’d just leave it.It was hard to get them in the picture with the sun.

its funny how guns like that seem to always be the one you grab when its serious ... its awesome, looks like its seen some action in its time lol ... its like today im missing about 3 chickens over the past couple of weeks and this pos, wont say what, i saw poking around my coop out the kitchen window .. i ran and grabbed old trusty my marauder and sent it to heaven lol ... all these new guns ive got and i grab the 12yo one ...

Thanks dizzums,made me laugh with that pos comment.My neighbor had that problem with her chickens,asked me to shoot any raccoon I see in her yard,she had some missing ducklings too after seeing a groundhog hitting her spot.I took care of him with the Uragan.

Nice shooting and good to have a reliable shooter handy. Looking at the tail and size, I believe that is actually a muskrat, unless you call muskrats nutria in your area.

I like beater guns. 'Pre-dented' so I don't have to worry so much about the first scratch.
