Would like to get more info with the barrel tensioning ..I went all out with my m3 in terms of upgrades in fact it was shooting lights out out of the box.. but after fixing the TRS with the clamp and barrel tensioner the accuracy dropped ...removed every thing and just running the barrel holder ...and surprisingly the groups got tight again.. I am running a 700mm barrel is it really required for this barrels ..or it works for the longer 800mm barrel

The gun works great...without...all of the expensive toys/nic-naks Not so much...with...the expensive toys.
I say use the gun as it works best for you, and don't worry about...following the crowd !
The barrel on my FX, .22, M3 is...free floating, no add-on toys.

Personally, the tensioning seems better on the larger calibers shooting slugs. I do like the looks more with it though. The matt black shroud is kind of dull and plain to me.
