Quite rainy here today. I am impressed by the consistent expansion of the Baracuda Hunter, but intrigued by how the Hades handles speed. Today I am going to compare accuracy and terminal performance of these two hunting pellets.
I posted earlier that my findings with my gun is that the .25 Baracuda Hunters do not maintain accuracy above 870 fps. Gun is set up for 860 with the Baracuda Hunters.
My initial plan is to simply shoot them side by side at my current setup on the Lelya 2.0 for accuracy, then capture a couple pellets through a soft target simulation and share the results.
Then I will likely make adjustments and collect some addl info
I can tell you that in .177 the Baracuda Hunter rocks this comparison regardless of energy I tested at.
In .25 my gut tells me the Hades will win at 45 FtLb or more simply based on accuracy. 40-45 will be interesting as I suspect they will compete. Below 40 will be interesting as the Baracuda Hunter does have great and consistent terminal performance. We will see.
