Awesome job, looks much better then the standard stock. Im hoping Barra will bring out a wood version.

I thought about buying a 250 and getting a sporter blank from Richards Micro and inletting it but I got a few other projects I haven't finished.

I had thought about getting a blank or shaped stock with no inlet. What it came down to was price and compatibility. The barra trigger is significantly farther forward in relationship to the bolt knob than a traditional bolt action. A shaped stock was going to run 250$ with no certainty of compatibility and a blank of the appropriate size was 100$ minimum... one 1/2"×4'x8' of baltic birch enough for 6 stocks was 88$ and allowed to inlet 80% before you glue it up.

I like it, looks really good.....is it about the same weight as the stock chassis?

I haven't weighed them both but it's not a noticeable difference between either.
