Bar per shot on your Leshiy?

That's interesting on the 27.47g Baracuda Hunters - I was getting 17 shots with that ammo with a 250 bar fill, reg set at ~103, and 15 clicks from min. I'm getting around 23 with the Huma set to 110 and 16 clicks on HST, with very consistent trajectories at 50M.

I really need a chrony!

Yes you definitely need a chrony. As you increase reg pressure the ability of the hammer to open the valve relationship changes. The only way to see if you have a good shot string is with the Chrony. Bill

Yeah, otherwise it would take a good long while to get it tuned by the seat of the pants!

Although I've had dozens of pellet guns over the decades, I'm coming most recently from a mainly stock p-rod, I found that one pretty easy to tune without one, but with this Leshiy, I'm going to want a couple of different profiles - (1) for optimal shot count, for longer range paper targets, and (2) hyper-speed hunting settings. The 350mm .25 will be on it most of the time, I have the 250mm .22 - but I like the way the .25's fly over longer distances.

I turned my Leshiy up 3 clicks yesterday so am now getting 870fps with 10.3 pellets. I didn't lose many shots because now when it comes off the reg at around 120bar the fps only rises to 880 so I can shoot down to 100bar now as opposed to 120bar. I get about 23 shots from a 250 bar fill and accuracy seems to have stayed the same. I shot four groups and they were typical 1 inch groups at 50 yards though 1 group was near 1/2 inch.

No reason for turning up the power but why not I guess!

Nice! That brings up a thought - I thought about getting a reg tester for my Huma, but with how easy it is to tell when the shots fall of the reg, it almost seems like you can figure out what the actual regulated pressure is over a few strings, just by paying attention to where it rises and falls off. Call me crazy if I'm wrong!
