Bantam Range trip

I took the new Bantam out today for a bit. At 25 yards, the groups ran from .475 to .686. Measured from the outside edges of the two shots farthest apart.

Pellets used were JSB Exact Jumbo Express 14.35 grain. I weighed them and shot groups with 14.3 and 14.4 grain pellets which seemed equally accurate. Shooting straight from the tin gave groups over 3/4 inch. The trigger is just a bit heavier than my Marauder, but still lighter than most powder burners I own. I may try another pellet, I'm just not sure which one I want.

I'd like to thank the people who have answered my questions and offered advice. This is turning out to be a blast!

Good show, SC! Glad you're enjoying your Bantam; I love mine.

Just FWIW, in my opinion measuring and presenting group-sizes measured center-to-center is not only the truest measure of accuracy (immune to caliber), but also the most common method.

Happy Shooting,

Ron

Agree, it's also the only way to easily compare performance between bullets of different caliber diameters. If you had two groups of identical outside measurements, one .22 and one .45, the 45 would be shooting twice as good.
